Weekly Workouts + What I Ate in a Day

As I wake up this morning, I’m feeling less than motivated about working out. There has been some changes going down at my own gym that have me pretty bummed and feeling lost. That gym has been my second home for years now, it’s been one of the main reasons I fell in love with working out and why I have continued to work so hard in the gym. And with the changes that are happening, I’ve lost some of that motivation and my heart is a little broken. It’s a weird place to be at the moment.

But life is a series of continuous changes. One day we think things are going exactly the way we want them to, and the next we are walking around lost and feeling broken. And those feelings can lead to less motivation in many aspects of our lives. Whether that’s our relationships, friendships, motivation, or emotional stability. Whatever the case may be, it can be hard to find a new rhythm.

When things change, it’s our own responsibility to pick up the pieces we have left and move forward. It’s so easy to give up on our motivation and stay idle. But if you can be the person who accepts change, embraces the suck and makes a new path for themselves, than you will never lose that motivation you have inside of you.

We can look for motivation everywhere, but at the end of the day, it comes within us. We create our own motivation and we have the responsibility to change with the times and accept that motivation may look different as we grow. It all may sound so weird as I spout this crap, but all I’m trying to say is that we can motivate ourselves every day, as long as we…
