I have to admit that all my weddings this year have been pretty fabulous, but there was something quite unique about Lorraine and Andrew’s. All weddings are personal and unlike any other but I think because they had chosen to have their wedding in the Italia at the Roker Hotel it had a really different kind of vibe about it. Going for a venue that was so quirky and chilled out affected the whole day, everyone was relaxed and as an outsider it was lovely to be so welcomed by all of the guests. Everyone was quite happy to have their picture taken even from the start and the Roker Hotel itself was so helpful and accommodating they really deserve a round of applause.
Lorraine looked stunning, and the venue was dressed perfectly to suit the wedding: gorgeous sweet-peas to match the bouquet, casual seating and from a nerdy photography point of view the lighting was perfect. It’s a place I hope to go back to again and again.
The whole day was really magical and I take great delight in wishing Lorraine and Andrew a very happy future together.
Here are some more pictures from their fantastic wedding.
