Clearing your skin of spots and blemishes can be achieved naturally without purchasing expensive products. But due to their high profit the cosmetics industry has hidden these secrets from us in order to keep the consumer buying their expensive products. I have used every topical treatment advertised that promotes spot and blemish removal forever but none of them actually work. It was only when I started to research alternative treatments that I realised the importance of getting to the root cause of the problem. I have discovered a simple and natural remedy that clears your skin forever.
Purchase an all natural soap, the one that I use is Dr Bronners Lavender bar soap, it contains no perfumes, artificial colouring or harsh chemicals. It is also possible to make your own soap just ensure that you do not add any chemicals to your ingredients.
Things You Will Need
- A soft towel
- A natural soap
- Baking soda
- Green clay mask
Wet your face and lather up your skin with the soap and rinse off without scrubbing
Make a paste in your hand with two tablespoons of baking soda and a small amount of water. Using light circular motions massage the paste into your skin. Do this for 1-2 minutes. The baking soda eliminates Candida bacteria which is the root cause of bad skin problems.
Gently rinse the baking soda from your face and then blot your face dry with a clean towel. Repeat this process twice daily but at night apply the green clay mask to the spots or blemishes and leave it on overnight. You will begin to see a noticeable improvement within 6 weeks after which you will no longer need to use the mask. You will no longer need to use a face moisturizer as the above process will restore your skins natural oil balance.
Using these steps will aid in eradicating spots and blemishes but it is advisable to maintain a healthy diet for more permanent results. Make sure that you drink plenty of water every day, a minimum of 8-10 glasses a day. Water is a natural health remedy that aids in promoting glowing and beautiful skin. Water purifies the body by helping to eliminate toxins and waste. Eating plenty of fruits and vegetables such as spinach since they contain antioxidants that reduce inflammation and neutralize cell damaging agents. Try to eat spinach 5-6 times a week to get its full benefits. Pumpkins, carrots and peppers are also very good for the skin since they are full of beta-carotene, once it enters the body it is converted into vitamin A which helps heal damaged skin tissue.
Fresh summer fruits such as nectarines peaches and plums also contain antioxidants and other sources of phytonutrients. The natural acids and antioxidants in fruits and yogurt act as a natural exfoliate while oil released from walnuts add softness and create a natural shine.
