Three big things were going down in my world this week –
- Jackson was at the vet up in Fort Collins while I stayed nearby at a B&B to visit him any chance I got
- The weather was BEAUTIFUL
- Mercury in retrograde finally ended after an absolutely insane month
This past month has been one of the most exhausting, stressful months I’ve ever experienced. If I wasn’t a big believer in astrology before, I am now. That mercury is no joke. Somehow every day was more stressful than the last. And much of that was due to all the WAITING. And the thing about waiting around to hear from the vet during a very stressful time is that it’s pretty easy to go completely crazy. So instead of sitting in my hotel room chewing on my lip, I got myself outdoors. I sometimes forget how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful state and I often take for granted the stunning scenery we have around us at all times. So while I spent almost a week up in Fort Collins, I took a few trips to Lory State Park to wander, explore, and get in a little extra movement. And I was pleasantly surprised how good it felt and how much it took my mind off the stress of the past month. There really is something about breathing in fresh outdoor air that takes a weight off your shoulders for a short amount of time.
