There’s always those times when you wish you had an extra arm … I know I’m always dropping bolts and screws and bits all over the place when trying to put projects together. Grab this nifty Magnogrip Magnetic Wristband and solve all those problems! Really, who couldn’t use some extra hands in the shop?!> src="https://elcek.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/1591547461_6_Gift-Guide-Ultimate-Gift-Guide-for-the-DIYer-in-Your-Life" alt="" width="1" height="1" border="0"/> >Toolbelt
Errrrrybody needs a toolbelt. You can hold ALL THE THINGS and look super official and awesome. Between the magnetic wristband and a new Toolbelt, it’ll be like having four arms! But less creepy …> src="https://elcek.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/1591547462_33_Gift-Guide-Ultimate-Gift-Guide-for-the-DIYer-in-Your-Life" alt="" width="1" height="1" border="0"/> Tape Measure
How does it go? Measure once, cut twice? Measure twice, cut once? Risk it all and just eyeball the cut? I think we’ve all experimented with each of those options … turns out a tape measure is usually the way to go. Fewer mistakes 😉>Corner Cat Sander > src="https://elcek.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/1591547463_585_Gift-Guide-Ultimate-Gift-Guide-for-the-DIYer-in-Your-Life" alt="" width="1" height="1" border="0"/>This little piece of equipment is a game changer. I just got one this fall and Oh. My. Goodness. It was love at first use. You can finish up all those tight corners, no problemo. I used to have to sit and sand all the corners by hand, which takes approximately 2.5 million years (or seems like it). With this Corner Cat Sander, I was in and out of the corners in 15 seconds flat. Go check it out. You won’t regret it. And your DIYer will love you forever! > >Putty Knife Set src="https://elcek.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/1591547464_4_Gift-Guide-Ultimate-Gift-Guide-for-the-DIYer-in-Your-Life" alt="" width="1" height="1" border="0"/>
You know those things you don’t think you need til you need them and you run back and forth to the Home Depot 15 times in one evening to finish up your project? Yeah …. putty knives is one of those things. They’re great for finishing plywood edges, stripping old finishes, and scraping paint of the garage floor cus you forgot to put a drop cloth down (not that I have experience with that). Save your DIYer the errands and grab a set here!

Oh clamps. Clamps are the slickest thing since bagged bread. Grab one, grab two, grab red, grab blue … or just buy the whole darn set. Whatever you do, don’t forget the clamps. It’s difficult to build anything if you can’t hold it together while attaching … it can be done … but you won’t be square. I’ve tried. Though, between the new toolbelt and magnetic wristband, maybe you have enough arms now that you don’t need clamps?> src="https://elcek.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/1591547466_226_Gift-Guide-Ultimate-Gift-Guide-for-the-DIYer-in-Your-Life" alt="" width="1" height="1" border="0"/>Fatboy Mechanical Carpenter Pencil
I might pick this thing up just because of the great name … But for real, when you’re right in the middle of a build and need to make some quick measurements, it’s the pits when your pencil is dull and you have to stop to sharpen it. Just flat out avoid the problem with a mechanical pencil! All the measuring and marking power in the world – right at your fingertips 😉

What’s more exciting than a giant gallon of wood glue!? DIYers go through this stuff like butta … unless you’re one that cooks with olive oil … then I’d say they go through this stuff like olive oil … it just doesn’t have the same ring to it.
If you don’t want to splurge for the whole gallon, consider a little smaller bottle!

Can I get a high-five for work gloves! There’s so many different options out there, but a standard leather work glove is my personal favorite. They keep your hands comfortable and safe. No fuss, no muss.
>Paint Brushes src="https://elcek.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/1591547469_953_Gift-Guide-Ultimate-Gift-Guide-for-the-DIYer-in-Your-Life" alt="" width="1" height="1" border="0"/>
Every DIYer’s dream is to have a beautiful, perfect finish at the end of a build. The way to the dream is clear – lots of sanding and some nice paint brushes. Grab a whole pack or just pick out a couple. These Wooster brushes are some of the nicest finishing brushes out there.

Should I make a joke about getting hammered? I’ll just leave it at that …
This 19oz Rip Claw Framer with Smooth Face & Shock Reduction Grip (*read that infomercial style*) is the perfect addition to any DIYer’s toolbox. Need to pound some nails? This bad boy is the tool for the job. It’s lightweight and the shock reduction grip keeps your hands from getting jarred and sore with every hit.
>Homeright MaxPro Sprayer >If anyone out there wants to send a mysterious anonymous gift to me, please send this. Finishing takes just as long, or longer, than actually building. And we all know that building is the fun part. Save your DIYer’s sanity and cut the finishing time wayyyyy down with this MaxPro Sprayer. You’ll thank me when your friend isn’t making jokes about getting hammered when talking about hammers cus they’ve finally cracked. > >Cordless Circular Saw >Tiny but mighty. This little circular saw cut’s through plywood like olive oil … or butta … what did we decide before? The easy-access knobs let you adjust the depth up to 1 9/16 inches and the beveling angle from 0 to 50 degrees, no problem. The laser guide is the bomb dot com. It’s so easy to see where you’re working. And don’t forget that it’s cordless … no need to worry about getting tangled up with a cord while you’re holding a hefty power tool trying to rip plywood. Been there, done that. This is much nicer. Trust me.
>Ryobi One+ 18V Lithium Ion Drill src="https://elcek.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/1591547473_516_Gift-Guide-Ultimate-Gift-Guide-for-the-DIYer-in-Your-Life" alt="" width="1" height="1" border="0"/>
A drill is one of the most basic tools you should have lying around. Use them for home improvement, use them for building, use them to drill things … duh. A drill is to being a DIYer what a pumpkin spice latte is to being #basic. And Ryobi knows how to make a top-notch drill. While you’re at it, grab a battery so your DIYer can use the drill 😉> src="https://elcek.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/1591547476_812_Gift-Guide-Ultimate-Gift-Guide-for-the-DIYer-in-Your-Life" alt="" width="1" height="1" border="0"/> Kreg Pocket Hole Jig

My dad and I once took apart most of a boat engine with just a Leatherman. We then used it to cut sausage for breakfast the next morning. All I’m saying is you never know when you need to dismantle and engine and then cook breakfast … it’s best to be prepared with the tool that does it all. Your DIYer will love you. I’m sure of it.

If you give a mouse a cookie … look it up if you haven’t read it.
But also, if you give a DIYer some tools, he’s going to want a place to put them. Entre new, nifty Toolbox.> src="https://elcek.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/1591547480_417_Gift-Guide-Ultimate-Gift-Guide-for-the-DIYer-in-Your-Life" alt="" width="1" height="1" border="0"/> >Right Angle Clamps
Just for good measure, I’m bringing some more clamps to the list. Right Angle Clamps – they’re handy, they’re stylish (I mean, look at that sleek red), they’re important. Nothing compares to a right angle clamp when you’re trying to build. Errrry project ever has to be square.

>Mr Heater Big Buddy src="https://elcek.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/1591547482_663_Gift-Guide-Ultimate-Gift-Guide-for-the-DIYer-in-Your-Life" alt="" width="1" height="1" border="0"/>
I live in Minnesota and have an unheated garage … those winter months get pretty chilly up in here. This Mr Heater Big Buddy heats the garage up like nobody’s business and help’s me keep building all winter. Do your DIYer a favor and don’t let him/her freeze.> src="https://elcek.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/1591547483_317_Gift-Guide-Ultimate-Gift-Guide-for-the-DIYer-in-Your-Life" alt="" width="1" height="1" border="0"/> >Shop Vac
This Shop Vac is actually only $75 … SUPRISE! Bet you didn’t think you’d find that in the “over $100” section. Let’s just go with it …
Sawdust is a big part of any DIYer’s life. A shop vac is the way to his/her heart. Clean up all that sawdust, clean up your truck, clean up water … this thing does it all!
src="https://elcek.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/1591547483_632_Gift-Guide-Ultimate-Gift-Guide-for-the-DIYer-in-Your-Life" alt="" width="1" height="1" border="0"/>>Miter Saw
I’m getting a little intense here with a Miter Saw, but it’s an essential tool for the shop. For the beginner DIYer, check out this Hitachi 10″ Compound Miter Saw for just $100. If you want to take it up a notch, consider the all-too-popular 12″ Sliding Compound Miter Saw. I have the 12″ saw and it’s a beast. Would recommend.
>Cordless Nail Gun >Now, here’s a slick tool to add to the shop. This Cordless Brad Nailer is battery-powered – no more tripping over the hose or worrying about a compressor! Ryobi also makes a stellar Cordless Brad Nailer (this is the one I have). If you decided to go with the Ryobi drill I listed above, I’d recommend their brad nailer as well. The drill and nailer use the same One+ 18 Volt Compact Lithium Ion 1.5 Ah Battery … it’s a two-for-one kinda deal! Or three-for-two I suppose …
Alright, that’s what I’ve got for you for the Shop!
